ABC warehouse sells faulty electronics and worthless warranties - Home entertainment system
We had purchased an $800 blue ray player and sound system. Within a couple months it would no longer read any of our dvds or blu rays. It was still under warranty and we sent it inf to be repaired. After about 3 weeks of hearing nothing from them, my husband called to check the status of it. The customer service rep was extremely rude and said they couldn't give us an update and had no information on it. We finally got it back and went to pick it up from the store and heard small pieces rattling around inside the box. It worked better for about 2 months then completely died but was still under warranty so we took it back for repair the second time. It had been over two months before we got it back the second time and my husband decided to open the box before leaving the store this time. The player was completely covered in dust and smudges and had a giant spot of glue and paper and stickers that was half scraped off. This was the second time it had been sent in for repair. It took them many months to "repair it" and they were extremely rude when we asked how long it would take. Both times we were told we might just get a new one, instead we got a still broken and dirty junky piece of equipment back. Terrible service, terrible quality. Worst $800 ever spent.
